Over the years, Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has carved a niche for himself with his chocolate boy image. The actor has been breaking out of his shell by dabbling with never-seen-before characters for quite some time now. As he awaits the release of his upcoming movie Tu Jhooti Main Makkar, starring Shraddha Kapoor, he opened up about the characters that impacted him the most during a recent interaction.

He was asked about the movies and characters that left a huge impact on him in terms of performances. Ranbir said it was Allu Arjun’s role as Pushpa and wife Alia Bhatt’s work in Gangubai Kathiawadi and RRR that really blew him away, not only as an actor but also as an audience. The 40-year-old actor further added that if he had gotten a chance to play a character like theirs, it would have been nice. Talking about his upcoming movie, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar marks Ranbir's return to the rom-com genre. The trailer and the songs are being hailed by the audience. For the unversed, the actor tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, actress Alia Bhatt in April 2022. The duo welcomed their first daughter in November 2022. 

On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor aslo has Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal in his pipeline. The movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles.
